All of us have something special in us and with us. It’s a unique gift that is of great value to the needs of everyone around us. We have a special ability to turn things around when called on. We are that person that speaks and everyone is inspired to take action. We are the men and women with the means to make things happen. We have an amazing ability to see potential in someone and nurture them to bring forth fruit. Whatever the gift you possess, the world needs it.   Together we thrive I normally walk through the community where I stay and it is not hard to see that poverty is a big problem here. I also interact with many people from the community and you can clearly see that poverty is the problem. Because of the tough conditions they live in and face the people seek alternatives to numb the pain but that’s not a permanent solution. We have just been through election season in Uganda and the first month of 2021 is coming to an end. If you had not yet written down those goals, it’s never late so you still can and we start working on them. Time to accelerate This year the word I got before 31 st December, 2020 was Accelerate. In my context it means doing the things that would have taken many years in one year. It means walking on water. It means breaking free from culture that has not worked for years but had become a comfort zone. It means not being comfortable with likes when purpose is getting compromised. So I have gone off to embrace the work that is going to come with being able to live out that theme “Accelerate.” In my context, considering doing some things is pretty scary, you would rather live it for the ones who are “qualified.” But the word is, it’s not about qualifications [Living by sight], but following instructions [living by faith].
